Making a request
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive it in a portable form, or to opt out of its sale or sharing and of certain automated processing.
You can make any of those requests using the form below. You do not need an account with us, and you do not need to give a reason.
Tell us which of you it is, in the box asking what will help us find your records. Two different sets of people use this form and the routes are not the same:
- You dealt with this website — asked about the product, or sent us a message. We decide what happens to that information and we answer you directly.
- You received a text, call or email from an operator using Koabid. That business decides what happens to your information and we hold it on their instructions, so we log your request the day it arrives, pass it to them, tell you who they are, and see it through. The response clock runs from when we received it.
Something like “I got a text about my house at …” or “I filled in your early access form” is enough. If you want to stop being contacted, you do not need this form at all — reply STOP to any message and it is honored immediately across text, email and voice. This form has no phone field, because this website asks nobody for a number, so if you use it for that put the number in the same box.
What we do with your request
We record your request when it arrives and give you a receipt reference on screen. Keep it — it identifies your request if you contact us about it later.
We will verify who you are before acting, because handing someone else’s information to the wrong person would itself be a breach. What we need to verify you depends on what you have asked for; we will ask for the least we can get away with.
We respond within the period the law in your state allows, measured from when we receive the request rather than from when we get to it.
Authorized agents
Someone can make a request on your behalf. Tick the authorized agent box on the form and tell us who you are acting for. We will ask for proof of your authority before we act.
Non-retaliation
We will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right. No worse service, no different pricing, no loss of anything you already have.
